'Project Runway' is catching heat and facing poster-bans in response to the too-sexy-for-LA advertisement featuring naked – but artfully obscured – bodies evidently worshiping Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum. California may have a reputation for being extremely liberal, but the city was swift to ban the advertisement and rebuke 'Project Runway' for going too far.
"Project Runway" was not able to make it work, as mentor Tim Gunn might say.
The design competition's sexy new poster, which features Gunn and host/judge Heidi Klum dressed in costumes while naked female and male models worship at their feet, is not being allowed to go up on display in Los Angeles, Lifetime confirmed to Variety.
Some of the women's back ends and sideboobs are visible in the image. (See the full racy image on Klum's Twitter account.)
