Amidst all of the national monuments and historical sites, it's easy to get lost planning a trip to Washington D.C., but WHAG is showing the way to do it right and on a budget to boot. Directing troubled travelers towards the hottest places to visit and the least recognized gems in the region, WHAG is a saving grace when it comes to your DC visit.
Throughout this summer, WHAG will show you a series of quick getaways.
All kinds of historic statues, our nation's Capitol, and dozens of museums are some of the things you can do during your summer getaway to Washington, D.C.
"The Newseum is a history museum through the lens of the media. What we do is we look at historic moments in news history and tell those stories through eyewitness news reports," says Jonathan Thompson, media relations manager at the Newseum.
The Newseum features six floors of exhibits, a news helicopter, and a whopping 40-by-22 foot television.
