Luxury Hotels: Vacationers seek out Monaco as a holiday destination primarily to get away from daily cares, the hustle-bustle of the city, and the day-to-day grind. Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo in Monaco attracts visitors by the droves owing to its reputation of being the most modern of hotels in the region. It is also in the vicinity of the main casino in Monaco.

From Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo one gets to view the clear blue sea as well the mountains. The best of nature, in other words.

Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo was recently re-designed by the architect and celebrity interior designer, Jacques Garcia. Its interior reflects a sumptuous version of minimalism that spells both comfort and functionality. There are 141 rooms and suites in the hotel. Each room has a king-sized bed with a foot-stool that is extremely comfortable; the color of the bed and other furniture match those of the curtains. There is a couch and a couple of comfortable chairs as well. The in-suite bathroom is very large, as per European standards. Plus, there is a hairdryer in each room. There is no iron and ironing board but laundry services are pretty quick.

Other amenities at Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo include continuous Internet access which also happens to be high speed. There is data port and voice mail available.

The view out of the hotel is certainly beautiful. A lot of guests aver that simply taking a walk around the hotel's poolside is a salutary experience in itself.

Dining at Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo is also a great experience. The new restaurant, said to be the brain-child of master chefs Joel Robuchon and Christophe Cussac, is a unique blend of the classic style and modern elegance. The menu reflects the architectural sentiment with the classic French taste blending in with Mediterranean touches and contemporary flavors. It has to be savored to be believed. The food is cooked in an open kitchen, so you can watch what you are eating.

While at Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo don't forget to get a luxurious spa treatment. There are as many as 13 treatment rooms and three VIP suites. There is also a well-equipped fitness center alongside a restaurant purveying health foods.

Other amenities include a heated seawater pool with a bar next to it. There is also a piano bar and six meeting rooms. The hotel also houses a shopping center with more than 80 boutiques.

A must visit, definitely.
