Overview

Since 1924, the Huntington Hotel & Nob Hill Spa has been ranked consistently as not only the most distinguished choice of San Francisco luxury hotels, but as one of the finest places to stay in the world. Withstanding more than three-quarters of a century in the heart of the community, this family-owned and operated San Francisco hotel property is regarded as one of the last bastions of the city's deep historic roots. Nob Hill Spa

In conjunction with Dr. Martin Rossman and Gary Malkin, the Nob Hill Spa offers Guided Imagery with your massage treatments. This new frontier in wellness extends the benefits of massage from relaxation to total body health and wellness. The spoken words on the CD you listen to during your massage gently teach you to use your imagination to stimulate changes in your body, while beautiful piano music plays in the background. Meanwhile, your therapist helps you relax from the outside in with the 50-minute massage of your choice. The Guided Imagery CD is yours to take home with you (an additional listen-at-home track is included) following your massage.

Much of the 11,000-square-foot design of this luxurious San Francisco spa reflects the Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Victorian cultural influences found throughout the city's neighborhoods and architecture. Noted Bay Area Feng Shui expert Sean Xenja was consulted in the construction of this unique day spa in San Francisco, invoking 3,000-year-old Chinese art practices to create a serene, harmonious retreat.
