HOTEL OVERVIEW

Since 1981 the Deer Valley Resort has worked relentlessly to constantly improve its standards, revolutionizing the ski area service, in order to provide a rare level of care and quality service both on and off the mountain.

The Deer Valley Resort was in fact the first ski America resort to provide unparalleled service such as one would find in luxury hotels. The resort offers sumptuous amenities such as ski valets, groomed-to-perfection slopes, on-site childcare, lift ticket, lesson and rental packages and an award-winning ski school, as well as 300 annual inches of powdered snow backed up by advanced snow making techniques.

The resort is easily reached via an Interstate Highway providing easy access as well as exceptional service, which provides guests with customized lodging. Other off-snow activities include spas and health clubs, hot air balloon rides, river rafting, boating, horseback riding, golf, swimming, tennis, outdoor symphonies and concerts as well as local festivals. Deer Valley offers exceptional customer service, dependable quality and attention to every detail, so much so it was selected to host the world games at the Freestyle events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

The Deer Valley Resort is comprised of six mountains. The Bald Eagle Mountain, elevation 8,400 feet, offers ideal terrain for skiers of all abilities. The Little Baldy Peak, elevation 7,950 feet, offers nine trails ranging from beginner to expert. Where the University of Utah Ski Team trains, the Bald Mountain, elevation 9,400 feet, offers mostly intermediate and advanced skiing. The Flagstaff Mountain, elevation 9,100 feet, and serviced by four high-speed quads and one triple chair, offers a full range of skiing for all abilities. The Empire, elevation 9,570 feet, offers some of the most advanced, expert terrain at Deer Valley as well as two intermediate runs that border the mountain and Lady Morgan, elevation 9,000 feet and accessed via the new Lady Morgan Express, a high-speed quad, offering nine new ski runs on more than 200 skiable acres, 65 of which are glade.

Deer Valley also offers the finest in food quality and exceptional service, being rated number one in food and beverage by the readers of SKI magazine and by the Zagat Restaurant Guide. The restaurants at Deer Valley Resort offer a variety of dining options for the most selective of tastes.

The Deer Valley Resort Park City has really no rivals for mountain activities, even amongst visitors who do not usually choose the mountains as a favorite destination will find this resort amazing.
