HOTEL OVERVIEW
With the charm and warmth that have made this destination unique, Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta is, without a doubt, one of the most attractive hotels in Banderas Bay, the second largest bay in the Pacific. With contemporary Mexican architecture, this beautiful construction is perfectly harmonized with a landscape bordered by the mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental and the most beautiful beach in Vallarta. In this recently refurbished hotel, guests can enjoy the cool air provided by the large palapa in the lobby; a beautiful waterfall; splendid rooms -with different decorations-, and comfortable and functional suites. All of this can be enjoyed in a perfect environment for rest and relaxation.
The Fiesta Americana - Puerto Vallarta offers 291 guest rooms in an 11-story, rose-colored, bouganvillea-festooned building. Balconies are furnished with two padded chairs. Televisions offer video games and Internet access via wireless keyboards (surcharges) as well as pay movies. Rooms feature a contemporary decor with cream-colored walls and ceiling, tan-marble floors and bathrooms, white and emerald-green bedding including multiple pillows, and walnut-colored furniture. Top-floor Fiesta Club rooms with panoramic ocean views feature high ceilings, bathrobes, and dressing areas and include access to an exclusive lounge where complimentary Continental breakfasts, evening appetizers, and wine are served daily.
A heated freeform pool with swim-up bar and jetted section flows into a separate children's section. The resorts deep, 100-meter (109-yd) beach is furnished with thatched-roof palapas for shade. The resort maintains a fenced-in nursery on the beach for hatching endangered-turtle eggs during the nesting season. When turtles hatch (July-January), guests assist in releasing them into the sea.
Diagonally across the street from the resort, Plaza Caracol contains shops, cafés, and a large supermarket featuring a Mexican self-serve supermarket bakery offering dozens of varieties of cookies, donuts, pastries, cakes, pies, and warm-from-the-oven breads.
