Located on Munich's grand boulevard, Maximilianstrasse, this former royal guesthouse from 1858 attracts business people, tourists, and locals with its elegant lobby salon. Dominated by a mosaic glass roof, depicting the four seasons in a myriad of colors, the interior of royal red and gold fabrics and dark wood elements together with a marble and wood reception bar creates a warm ambiance.

This hotel has 308 guest rooms, all of which have unique shapes and individual decor. Rooms combine modern conveniences, such as high-speed, dial-up Internet access (surcharge) and laptop compatible safes with the historical ambiance of handmade furniture and rich fabrics. All rooms have armchairs, round tables, desks with lamps, and wood wainscoting. Rooms either face one of the three courtyards or have double-glazed windows and face Maximilianstrasse. Rooms on the top level have balconies. Bathrooms have marble floors, walls, and amenities and combined shower and bath tubs.

This hotel has 10 conference and meeting rooms, including a ballroom for up to 400 people, as well as several salons and a wooden smoking lounge with hunting engravings and red armchairs. Salon Nymphenburg serves private banquets on original handmade Nymphenburg china surrounded by wall columns, vases, and figures made from Nymphenburg porcelain. All business areas have wireless Internet access and the 24-hour business center provides computer with Internet access, fax machine, VCR, and laser printer.

Guests of the Pool Bellevue enjoy a magnificent view over historic Munich from the sun-terrace on the hotel's roof.
