Scheduled to open in 2016, One&Only Resorts will be welcoming guests to their first hotel in Bahrain. Set on the northwest coast in Seef, the property will boast a beachfront location and 175 guestrooms, suites, villas and estates. Along with retail shops, sports and entertainment facilities, and extensive meeting spaces, the resort will offer specific programming for families while still preserving a host of adults-only amenities. One of the main features will be a two-and-half acre, man-made lagoon.

While only a couple of images have been released (and minimal information), we do know that one of its dining venues will be the renowned Hakkasan restaurant overseen by Michelin-starred International Executive Chef Ho Chee Boon. “We are very pleased to be welcoming Hakkasan to One&Only Bahrain and know our guests will truly appreciate being able to enjoy this world-class experience,” comments Mark DeCocinis, President and Chief Operating Officer, One&Only Resorts. “Hakkasan is the perfect fit for appealing to the desires of our discerning global guests who expect a variety of only the best dining experiences.”

Focusing on Bahrain’s rich history and local culture, the property will seek to create a sense of place with its décor and furnishings. At the same time, it will feature modern amenities to meet contemporary traveler’s needs. This will be the brand’s ninth hotel and will be followed by properties in Sanya, China and Portonovi in Montenegro.
