This summer Viceroy’s first Turkish hotel will open along the Marmara Sea on the island of Büyükada. Viceroy Princes' Islands Istanbul will include 77 guestrooms and suites, serviced residences, a traditional Ottoman grand mansion, extensive gardens and a private cove. Restored to its former self, the grand mansion offers 20,731 square feet of space, six suites, a private pool, and venues available for social gatherings.

The resort can be reached by a 20-minute boat ride from Istanbul. Since motor vehicles are not allowed on the island, guests are encouraged to explore the island by foot, bicycles or phaetons (horse carriage). Around the property will be gardens for lounging, various indoor and outdoor swimming pools including a private sea lagoon, rooftop terraces and a club. From the looks of it, you’ll most likely find us soaking up the sun in one of the over-water cabanas.

The hotel will have six food and beverage venues offering everything from fine dining choices to poolside snacks and a cigar lounge stocked with single origin rums, international aged spirits, and a collection of Scotches. Made entirely from ice sourced from Sweden’s Torne River, ICEBARIST will be a “chill” destination for mingling with other guests.

Rates are not yet available.
