Rosewood San Miguel de Allende is situated in the heart of downtown, just over an hour drive from Leon-Bajio International Airport (BJX) and a three-hour drive from Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX). Celebrating the rich heritage and culture of the town, the luxurious Rosewood property is modeled after the town's charming architecture. Rooms and suites as well as common areas include spacious living areas, wood-beamed ceilings, thoughtful appointments and furnishings of the finest Mexican craftsmanship.

The property also boasts a "Sense, A Rosewood Spaģ," state-of-the-art fitness facilities, 1826 Restaurant, Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar, large indoor and outdoor event space, luscious gardens, and a unique outdoor amphitheater, perfect for lectures, performances, weddings and other social events.

Guests are encouraged to explore the nearby area, which is filled with points of historical and cultural interest including churches, museums and the Instituto Allende situated just next door; browsing through the city's many galleries and mercados.

The resort has a special opening offer starting at $295 plus tax and service. Package includes breakfast for two at 1826 Restaurant, a 25 percent discount on all spa treatments and complimentary valet parking. The offer is valid from February 1, 2011 to April 20, 2011.

if you consider authenticity a sign of luxury then this is not the place for you. i co-own a well-known design company based in san migue de allende (casamidy) and im sad to report that rosewood had several of our designs copies in large qty. this kind of practice is extremely detrimental to small companies like ours and it is especially offensive when it is done in san miguiel de allende a destination we have helped promote for the last 12 years in many top design magazines. if you'd like to join the discussion of how this effects the design business you can join it on our facebook page (casamidy)
