Patricia Field, the luxury fashion designer responsible for the signature style of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and The City and Meryl Streep’s character in the Devil Wears Prada is bringing her Emmy-Award winning visions to Las Vegas for the Fashion’s Night Out on September 6, 2012. The glamorous event is urging fashionistas everywhere to “Do Good, Look Good,” by shopping to help support local charities. From 6 pm to 11 pm at Vegas’ glitzy Crystals at City Center, models will flaunt fall’s hottest looks while Patricia Field will showcase a new line of designs.
During the events “Charity Crawl,” participating retailers will donate a portion of their sales to their chosen charity. This year, Fendi’s sales will aid Opportunity Village, Jimmy Choo will assist Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, and Prada has aligned with Nathan Adelson Hospice. The evening will also include cocktails, music, and entertainment from the Nevada Ballet Theatre. In addition the Dream Racing Pit Stop will allow guests to take part in a luxury driving experience with fully suited driving professionals and 3D Ferrari simulators.
Senior Vice President and General Manager Farid Matraki said, “This year’s Fashion’s Night Out celebration at Crystals is an incredible opportunity for Las Vegas locals and visitors to enjoy and learn about fashion while supporting a wide array of charitable causes. We debuted the philanthropic element to Fashion’s Night Out in 2011 with incredible success and are elated to introduce even more charity-designer partnerships this year.” Crystals, with 500,000 square feet of space, is considered one of the country’s premiere luxury retail destinations, with flagship stores which include, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. and Tom Ford, among others.
