Race car fanatics will be excited to hear that the fourth bi-annual Richard Petty Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas will be starting up again in March of this year. The event will include four days of exploring Las Vegas through the eyes of a racing enthusiast, from driving courses led by Richard Petty and Dale Inman to speedway challenges at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Petty, who earned the nickname “The King” after winning the NASCAR Championship seven times, will meet participants on the first day of the camp before sending drivers off to enjoy the Kobalt Tools 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from the Petty luxury suite at The Speedway.
The remainder of the camp will include one-on-one instruction from former NASCAR crew chief and first cousin to Richard Petty, Dale Inman. Inman and Randy LaJoie (two-time Nationwide series champion), along with a team of dedicated Petty instructors, will lead camp participants through driving challenges and short track drills behind the wheel of a 600 HP NASCAR race car, culminating in an adrenaline-pumping speedway challenge. Guests will also get to soak in the sights of Las Vegas from a higher vantage point during a scenic helicopter ride to and from Spring Mountain, enjoy five nights in luxury accommodations, join dinner events, and receive custom apparel and commemorative gifts.
Besides the list of NASCAR celebrities that will making appearances, four-wheeled stars during the event include GT500 Mustang, SRT Challenger, and a Chevrolet Camaro. The Fantasy Camp only includes space for twelve guests at a time, tickets costing $10,500 a person. The price includes all activities, accommodations on the Las Vegas strip, meals, as well as an in-car video. The upcoming camp will take place March 10th March 13th.
