Las Vegas Nightlife: Tired of the same old Vegas locales?
A hot spot burning up locals? lists of good places is the 4949 lounge at Santa Fe Station, just off the US95 highway.
The nightclub, which opened in August of last year, quickly became known for its house mix by live DJs every Thursday and Friday nights from 9 p.m.-3 a.m.
The vintage-retro feel with a hip-hop flair makes this a destination lounge in this fast-growing area of the Las Vegas valley.
Nearly every month the lounge turns into a themed wonderland with hip parties such as Cupid is Stupid Anti-Valentine's Day, Halloween Costume Party, Get Lucky St. Patty's Day, New Year's Eve, Cinco De Mayo and Mid Summer Night's Dream. If you are planning a party, this is a perfect place to reserve and groove in. The catering staff is very accommodating and the food quite fresh. The bartenders are skilled at creating atmosphere as well as signature drinks for any occasion.
Check out Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday from 4-8 p.m. with $2 house wine and domestic beer specials and Sunday Bloody Sundays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., where you can create your own Bloody Marys for $6. Call 702-767-7770.
