Los Angeles is known for having an never-ending supply of luxury restaurants, bars, and clubs in which to indulge yourself. But Technomic Inc. and Nightclub.com compiled a list of the Top 100 highest grossing bars in 2011, highlighting only the hottest places L.A. party-goers went last year to spend their money. Take a look at their picks to discover Hollywood's most popular nightlife destinations.

#16 Avalon Hollywood $15-25 Million


Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles is a historic night club and music venue that attracts some of the most popular performers and musicians in the business. It secured spot #16 on 2012ís Nightclub & Bars Top 100 highest grossing clubs in the U.S. The club houses room for nearly 2,000 people, features the exclusive Bardot lounge on the second floor, and plays host to an extensive queue of A-list DJís, making Avalon Hollywood a favorite place for both music and party enthusiasts. The historic Avalon nightclub is located right across the street from Los Angelesí Capitol Records Building and attracts hundreds of trendy music lovers. With three bars, opera box seating, and an outdoor patio, Avalon Hollywood is a popular venue for live concerts (see top), dancing, award shows, film screenings, and private events.

#38 Drai's Hollywood $10-15 Million


Draiís Hollywood Nightclub is truly a sexy venue with its lofty location settled on the rooftop of the W hotel. The club features poolside cabanas and palm trees, a balcony and a dance floor, making this a favorite spot for celebrities and A-listers alike. Have a meal under the stars or check out the lounge in this hip Hollywood venue complete with mirrored ceilings and windows that give a first-rate view of Tinseltown.

#61 Highlands Hollywood Nightclub $5-10 Million


The Highlands Hollywood is Southern Californiaís premier party venue featuring 30,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor space overlooking the Los Angeles basin. The club has a full-sized stage with video screens and also provides world class catering. There are also two floors filled with ample space to relax. Find a cozy corner and kick back on one of the Highland's overstuffed couches replete with velvet throw pillows.

Others to make the Top 100 list include Playhouse Nightclub, featuring scantily clad go-go dancers twisting and turning in cages, and Ecco Ultra Lounge, which is known for having one of the most elite sound systems in the city. Happy Ending Bar & Restaurant and The Vanguard both made the list as well.
