Even if an all day concert in the desert’s sweltering heat isn’t your idea of a good time, Coachella’s presence in Southern California and media culture cannot be denied. The fun energy continues to attract more brands and fans, eager to partake in Coachella’s bohemia-meets-tech festival. To celebrate the first weekend's start, Bollare PR invited media and industry influencers to the Coachella Kick-Off party and beauty bar in Los Angeles. Transforming the sunny lobby of their swanky Melrose office into a hip soiree, the party was complete with a DJ and a cold-pressed juice bar by BluePrint Juice Cleanse. Partygoers were outfitted with hip, luxury products ideal for a weekend at Coachella…or anytime.

Boostcase proves fashion functional. Style conscious consumers covet their mobile accessories, currently hitting the shelves of high-end retailers such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Colette Paris. Created with concert lovers in mind, The Cross Body Wallet ($99) enables hands free enjoyment, keeping mobile phone, cards and cash securely together. To avoid lost friends in the desert, the boldly colored Hybrid Case ($79) snaps to the iPhone while a detachable battery sleeve continually charges your phone on the go.

Gathering a deservingly avid following soon after its 2012 launch, the Swedish company Coloud Headphones featured their collection at the kick-off event. Fans love the lightweight portability, style and comfort—little clouds for your ears. A rainbow of color combinations can be customized online for the Coloud head and earphones, retailing between $20-$40. Conveniently, a microphone and remote, built into the flat cable connector allows you to answer calls while listening, as well as fast forward and rewind your music.

To send guests off in Coachella style, NCLA nail polish was present providing 15-minute manicures, which included application of their self-adhesive nail wraps along with gold leaf detailing. Funky patterns, textures and polka dots created by celeb nail stylists and guest designers, including Alice + Olivia, add playful edge to the ultra-thin wraps. The product comes in packages of 44, yielding 3-4 applications ($16). The manicurist suggested applying a clear top coat every few days to preserve the designs for up to two weeks.
