It’s no secret that we’re addicted to scrolling through our Instagram feeds daily, especially the Explore tab. If you’re like me, you’re constantly double-tapping exotic locales, scenic destinations and other wanderlust escapes that you’d like to visit one day. As the app has become one of the most popular on the market, travelers have begun looking to it as a source for helping them find their next adventure. We scoured the social media realm to find the Best Instagram Travel Accounts that have inspired us to grab our suitcases and venture into the great abyss. These eight Instagramers boast over 500k followers and it's easy to see why.

You’d be hard-pressed to find any list of top travel Instagram accounts that doesn’t feature Chris Burkard. The photographer, speaker, director and author travels the earth in search of breathtaking landscapes while participating in many outdoor activities and extreme sports. Like any true Californian, his surfboard is also always nearby and you can find him surfing in some of the world’s most beautiful destinations.
