Milan Culture: Milan, and on a larger scale the whole of Italy, has long been designated an epicenter of European design, and the Triennale Design Museum pays tribute to the decorative arts in which this dedication takes form. It moved to Milan from Monza in 1933 and is based at the Palazzo dell'Arte.
Architect Giovanni Muzio built the museum in only eighteen months, and at its debut it was one of the most innovative structures of its time. The museum offers tours of their collection, which covers many of the different aspects of design. |
