Luxury Hotels: For over 100 years, The Plaza Hotel has been a New York landmark of luxury. Recently reopened, The Plaza Hotel has maintained its old elegance, with some modern upgrades.

After undergoing a $400 million transformation, the famous landmark hotel, that borders Central Park, has been infused with a new energy. The beloved hotel still retains old favorites including the decadent Beaux Arts décor and the legendary Oak Room and Oak Bar.

New additions to The Plaza Hotel are sure to create new memories in the Fifth Avenue lobby, the elegant Champagne Bar and stylish Rose Club.

The Plaza's renovation has created 282 distinctive guestrooms, including102 suites.

Guestrooms at The Plaza Hotel have the ultimate in luxury indulgences:
  • 24-carat gold plated Sherle Wagner faucets and accessories
  • Hand crafted solid white marble vanities
  • 100% cotton finest Italian oversized Mascioni bath towels and Mascioni linens
  • Signature Miller Harris toiletries created exclusively for The Plaza
  • White glove butler service on every floor and twice daily housekeeping service.

In addition to well-appointed guestrooms with the ultimate in personal amenities, the recent renovations have made room for the latest technology in each room. Technological amenities include:
  • High-definition television
  • Wireless high-speed Internet access
  • Touch panel screen to customize the room environment (which also connects guests with hotel services)
  • In-room DVD player
  • iLuv Stereo Audio System with
clock radio and music and video library access.

The electronics are neatly tucked away, to maintain the integrity of the Beaux Arts inspired décor and chandeliers.

The luxurious suites at The Plaza Hotel feature all of the same amenities as the guestrooms in addition to being nearly twice as large as the guestrooms. Suites include sitting areas and some also have a Butler's Pantry and an additional powder room. Views in the suites are some of the best the city has to offer. Suites may overlook city streets or offer an Interior Courtyard view and some even grant a bird's eye look at Central Park. The Royal Plaza Suite offers over 4,000 square feet of luxury, including: 3 bedrooms with their own entrances and 3 bathrooms, as well as a dining room that seats 12; even a grand piano.

In the public areas of the hotel, new amenities include the new Plaza Retail Collection, featuring world-class boutiques that offer the best in beauty, fashion and décor. Guests can also enjoy being pampered at the Caudalie Vinothérapie® Spa , getting beautified at the Warren Tricomi salon and work out in the fitness center by Radu.

The renovations at The Plaza Hotel have maintained the iconic New York landmark's emphasis on luxury lifestyles and world-class service, while incorporating new amenities that set an entirely new standard of luxury for the next 100 years.
