The Plaza Hotel Reopens After $400 Mil Transformation

Luxury Hotels: For over 100 years, The Plaza Hotel has been a New York landmark of luxury. Recently reopened, The Plaza Hotel has maintained its old elegance, with some modern upgrades.

After undergoing a $400 million transformation, the famous landmark hotel, that borders Central Park, has been infused with a new energy. The beloved hotel still retains old favorites including the decadent Beaux Arts décor and the legendary Oak Room and Oak Bar.

New additions to The Plaza Hotel are sure to create new memories in the Fifth Avenue lobby, the elegant Champagne Bar and stylish Rose Club.

The Plaza's renovation has created 282 distinctive guestrooms, including102 suites.

In addition to well-appointed guestrooms with the ultimate in personal amenities, the recent renovations have made room for the latest technology in each room. Technological amenities include:

Touch panel screen to customize the room environment (which also connects guests with hotel services)

iLuv Stereo Audio System with
clock radio and music and video library access.

The electronics are neatly tucked away, to maintain the integrity of the Beaux Arts inspired décor and chandeliers.

The luxurious suites at The Plaza Hotel feature all of the same amenities as the guestrooms in addition to being nearly twice as large as the guestrooms.
