Hermès Opens Men’s Store in NYC

Feb. 15th, 2010 | Comments 0 | Make a Comment
Fashion News: What’s in store for men who shop in the new Hermès for men’s store on Madison Avenue? There are leather goods and accessories galore along with knits, silks, and fine tailoring. This store is for and about men from inventory to decorum. The grand opening was February 9.

Apparently, men are in vogue and their business is wanted. The fashion industry is making itself more accessible to men by providing shops and boutiques exclusively for men, according to the WSJ.com. Coach will open a shop in May in NYC, and other designers, such as Feragamo and Dolce & Gabanna have opened men’s shops.

Noteworthy: It also was mentioned that bespoke suits begin at $9,000; custom-fitted shirts go for $850; and suits sell for $6,000. Exotic-skinned bespoke jackets come in at around $50,000. Happy hunting!
