New York Shopping: The Gap isn't exactly where you'd expect to find unique
designer jewelry, but the popular brand has recently launched a new pop-up store collaboration with the winners of the CFDA/
Vogue Fashion Fund.
Grand Prize winner and Obama favorite Sophie Theallet and runners up menswear designer Patrik Ervell and jewelry designer Monique Péan all have exclusive offerings at the pop-up store with prices substantially less than their usual designer price points.
Péan has designed 12 jewelry styles in eco-friendly materials including naturally shed buffalo horn, coconut, buri twine and organic cotton, in the $200 to $300 range.
If you're in the New York area, get over there quick as Pean's designs are especially popular and the shop closes in July.
Gap's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Pop-up Shop, 680 Fifth Avenue (between 53rd and 54th Streets). Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. While supplies last.
