New York Things To Do: Where once two pillars of American commerce once stood is now a sombering place to reflect on the lives lost here during the events of 9/11. The site is constantly evolving, as the redesign of the World Trade Center emerges, headed by Studio Daniel Libeskind architects.
There is also a memorial surrounding the footprint of the former twin towers here, scheduled to open in 2011, as construction continues on the gleaming buildings that will comprise the new World Trade Center.
