Originally opening in 1994, Gramercy Tavern thinks of itself as the " revival of the classic American tavern." Divided into two sections, the restaurant will take reservations for the main dining room, while the tavern itself is walk-in only. Featuring separate menus, both dining venues offer innovative plates like Smoked Potato Chowder, Bacon, Octopus and Mussels; Roasted Pork Loin, Swiss Chard, Radish and Honey Wheat Spaetzle; and Roasted Lamb, Sunchokes, Hen of the Woods Mushrooms and Spring Greens. The restaurant also offers an array of farmstead cheeses, an exhaustive beer program and wine list, cocktails, and coffee and tea.
