With wineries and vineyards seemingly on every block, Napa Valley has been a hotspot for California tourists for what seems like ages. It’s really no surprise that within the next two years the area will be seeing three new luxury hotels, which will not only bring in an additional 350 rooms, but a significant amount of revenue for Napa County. It will be interesting to see just how much revenue spikes from last year’s $64.2 million, but in the meantime, let’s learn a bit about the new hotels we have to look forward to.

Archer Napa

According to the North Bay Business Journal, Archer Napa will be breaking ground this week and will be the focal point of a 350,000-square-foot development on First Street called Napa Center. The boutique hotel is the second planned addition the Archer chain, its first being built in New York and a third is in process in Austin, Texas. Set for a late 2016 opening, Archer Napa will have 183 rooms across five levels and include will include a restaurant, retail shops, swimming pool, rooftop bar, a terrace and meeting spaces. There may not be many photos yet, but thanks to the above video put together by Trademark Property Co., you can take a look at what the entire Napa Center, including the hotel, will look like.

Las Alcobas

As part of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide group, Las Alcobas will be found in St. Helena and feature just 70 rooms. Set for a spring 2016 opening, the building broke ground last year on a 3.3-acre plot of land that used to be occupied by the Grandview Hotel & Spa. Expected to cost around $700 a night, the establishment will include the renovation of the historic Acacia House, which will hold seven of the hotel’s guest rooms, as well as the lobby, restaurant, spa, fitness center, and grand ballroom.

VieVage Napa Valley

Auberge Resorts Collection plans on having their newest hotel open by summer 2017 and by the sounds of it, it is going to be amazing. Technically a spa resort, the VieVage will have 120 cottages taking over 95 acres on the 712-acre Stanly Ranch. With vineyards and gardens at every turn, the resort will definitely be taking advantage of its wine country location. Guests will be able to stroll along footpaths, bike along rolling hills, and socialize outside among fire pits and barbeques. Plus, not only will it have a spa and fitness center, it will also feature its own onsite winery and tasting room, as well as a casual restaurant, bar, and a bakery.

"I am excited by this new concept and what it will bring not only to Napa Valley, but also to the hotel industry," says Mark Harmon, Founder and Managing Partner of Auberge Resorts in a recent press release. "VieVage will bring together the best of what we do with a beautiful simplicity and understated luxury. This concept will be social, fun, approachable, and it will celebrate the romance of connecting with family and friends."
