A Top Chef Throwdown Where the Audience Gets To Eat, Finally

Pack your fork and head to Las Vegas on August 19 to attend the Top Chef Masters Reunion Dinner at Border Grill kitchen at Mandalay Bay. Chefs/owners Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger will host fellow alumni of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters as well as guest chefs Hugh Acheson (the James-Beard-winning king of the kitchens at 5&10, The National, Empire State South and The Florence) and Rick Moonen (RM Seafood and Rx Boiler Room).

Guests will first raise a toast to the food masters at a cocktail reception featuring libations created by “The Modern Mixologist” Tony Abou-Ganim and sponsored by Southern Wine & Spirits. A panel discussion will follow—moderated by Rachel Smith of More on Fox—with the chefs spilling inside stories about their trial-by-fire competition experiences on Top Chef Masters. Then it’s time to chow down to your heart’s content in a cozy dine-around setting.

“Mary Sue and I are very much looking forward to being reunited with such a great group of talented chefs and friends for this intimate event,” said Feniger, who applauds the night’s charity beneficiary, Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch, which helps eaters and chefs made sustainable food choices. “It is so special when we can come together for a common good cause, as well as treat guests to a lively tasting event that celebrates our time during Top Chef Masters.”

The $150 admission ticket also includes an autographed copy of Acheson’s newest cookbook A New Turn in the South: Southern Flavors Reinvented for Your Kitchen.
