The long, two-year wait for La Réserve Paris to open has finally ended! Designed by architect Jacques Garcia and created by hotelier Michel Reybier, the Parisian hotel officially opened January 19 and is now the third location for the La Réserve brand. Joining Geneva and St Tropez, the new hotspot can be found right off the Champs Elysées near Place de la Concorde and is pretty modest in size. Though there are only 40 rooms to choose from, 26 of them are suites and four are presidential penthouses.
The luxury hotel offers views of the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, Pantheon, and Luxor Obelisk, meaning that every photo you take from your room will look like a postcard. Speaking of the rooms, each is styled with the 19th century in mind. They feature over-stuffed antique furniture, silk wall coverings, plenty of velvet accents, and Carrara and Turquin marble in the bathrooms. Personal butler service comes with the suites, as well as in-room wine coolers.
While the suits feature an overall muted color palate, many of the shared spaces boast bright pops of color. The bar room has plush scarlet-toned armchairs and couches, while the library is decorated with vibrant teal furniture. There's also a Nescens spa with a 52-foot pool, a smoking parlor, lounge, and courtyard. When hungry, guests can meander over to the hotel's restaurant Le Gabriel, which is run by the two-Michelin-starred chef, Jérome Banctel. Offering contemporary French cuisine that is inspired by the seasons, Le Gabriel is open for lunch and dinner.
Rooms start at around $1,262 a night.
