Because Little Palm Island is accessible only by boat or seaplane, many yachts can be seen at the pier visiting the private island. Little Palm offers a private boat launch aboard The Truman (named after one of the island's most famous guests) from the mainland to the island that runs every hour. The resort has a number of water gardens, Jamaican palms and exotic blossoms but the island's most unique feature is the tame Key deer that can be seen walking around.
The ultra-luxe Indonesian SpaTerre offers exotic cross-cultural treatments to replenish your body and spirit. Treatments here include the Japanese Lulur Royal Treatment, once reserved for Indonesian princesses, and a couple's massage performed in an open-air palapa hut. Guests can be found lounging around the heated lagoon pool after a day of beauty.
The concierge at Little Palm can coordinate scuba diving adventures, tours to the Great White Heron Refuge, sailing charters and deep sea fishing excursions. Primarily, guests stay here for nearly $1,600 per night to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life but if sitting around and doing nothing becomes a bit overwhelming, guests who need a television fix may turn on the TV that is hidden in the main library.
The all-inclusive rates include motor yacht transfer to and from the welcome station at Little Torch Key, accommodations, a welcome bottle of wine, all non-alcoholic beverages, use of day sailors, kayaks, Boston Whalers, snorkeling and fishing gear and the use of the fitness center. Guests may also select the Breakfast Plan, which includes a full gourmet breakfast daily or the Full Meal Plan, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
