If wine-pairing, celebrity chefs, and gourmet food peak your interest than the Tyler Florence dinner at Herringbone may just be your perfect evening out. Food Network’s Tyler Florence will be at San Diego’s Herringbone Restaurant for a very special four-course meal, prepared by Chef Amanda Baumgarten. Guests of the event will get the opportunity to meet with Tyler Florence, who stars in Food Network shows such as “Food 911” and “How to Boil Water.”
The evening’s menu will include a variety of flavor pairings, such as the Spot Prawn Crudo combined with the Tyler Florence’s Sauvignon Blanc and the Duck Breast, made with celery root, black currant and juniper whose floral notes are set-off by Tyler Florence’s Pinot Noir. Florence will also lend his wine collection to Baumgarten’s dishes of Duo of Beef (Prime New York and Short Rib) and Maine Diver Scallop, served with chorizo, Jersey apple, watercress and almond.
The event will take place on September 13. Tickets are $100 and include an cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 pm. To learn more visit HerringBoneEats.com.
