No matter the season, San Diego beaches are relentlessly sunny, which makes them a great spot for any family vacation. If you’re looking for somewhere to escape to (even if it’s just a staycation), the Beach Village at The Del is offering a fantastic “Seas the Day” getaway package that comes with a luxe car rental and a catamaran cruise.
The offering includes a four-night stay in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom cottage that has its own balcony or patio and overlooks Coronado Beach. Not only does it contain a stocked kitchen, spacious family room, fireplaces and an outdoor soaking tub, the package also includes lessons for four from a local surfing pro. And, guests will also get to use custom-curated vintage surf boards from Los Angeles-based collector Kristopher Tom—which you totally get to keep. If you aren’t interested in surfing, you can opt for stand-up paddleboard lessons instead. When you’re done learning how to shred the waves, you can relax on a private cruise around San Diego Bay aboard The Adventuress, a fully-loaded 60-foot luxury catamaran.
Guests will be given the choice of a luxury car rental for the duration of their stay, ranging from antiques to brand new Teslas. While you can document your family adventures with the GoPro Hero Black you’re gifted with upon arrival, your excursions will also be captured via drone and the edited film will be given as a parting gift. The package starts at $43,000.
