San Diego Things To Do: Resting on the shores of the San Diego Bay, at the southern end of the embarcadero is Seaport Village. The Village is the perfect place to spend a day checking out various shops and dining on the water. The centerpiece of the village is a 100-year-old carousel.
The buildings of the village are constructed in various styles from Victorian to traditional Mexican. Adjacent to the village is the mammoth U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier museum, which also features a restaurant overlooking the village. |
