San Diego Dining: The Palm is a famous venue in New York and Los Angeles, which made a seamless debut into the scene here in San Diego. Famous for their prime-aged steaks, giant lobsters from Nova Scotia, and traditional Italian fare, The Palm is a standard stop for celebrities and food critics passing through town.
Servings here are larger than most patrons could take down in a day, so it is recommended that you order a few plates for the table and pass it all around.
I have always loved the Palms in New York and LA so when they opened one here in San Diego, I was thrilled! It is the perfect place to grab a drink before a Padres game as it is literally just a stone's throw away from Petco Park. Although there is no surf and turf on the menu, your server will be happy to put together any combination of steak and lobster. Their Nova Scotia lobsters are gigantic, usually ranging from 3-6lbs. I recommend ordering everything "family style" because the portions are huge and that way you can try a little of everything!
