San Francisco Culture: The Legion of Honor rests atop the San Francisco Presidio, and aside from the amazing artwork inside it also offers sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. The Legion of Honor is a three-quarter scale replica of the French palace by the same name.

The museum's collection spans over 6,000 years of ancient and European art, as well as the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts. It is home to many famous pieces, like a cast of Rodin's The Thinker and the Statue of El Cid, as well as a beautiful fountain and landscaping.
