Musee Mecanique

Tucked away in a nondescript building within Fisherman's Wharf is the Musee Mecanique. This interactive museum provides a look at the arcade games and attractions that birthed today's video game mega-industry. Every mechanical treasure here is fully operational to give visitors a glimpse of how their elders spent their leisure time as kids.

Admission to the museum is free, but as with any arcade you'll want to bring a pocket full of quarters to try out the games, test your strength and have your fortune told.
