Luxury Scottsdale Resort Debuts Specialty Bourbon

If bourbon and cigars are your idea of a perfect pair, then Arizona’s Talking Stick Resort should be on your list of destinations. The luxury resort is the proud owner of its own specialty bourbon, the Woodford Reserve Talking Stick Resort Personal Selection Bourbon, to be exact. And if you can remember all those words in the correct order, you definitely need to have a bartender at Shadows Lounge, the resort's indoor cigar bar, get you another.

The beverage was created after Talking Stick cocktail aficionados took a trip to Kentucky to consult with master distiller Chris Morris, at Woodford Reserve Distillery. After much sampling, pairing, and of course, tasting, the well-named bourbon was invited into the Talking Stick family. The newly minted beverage is set to debut on September 14th, celebrated with several tastings throughout the evening.

Aside from specialty cocktail brewing, Talking Stick resort, a 240,000 square foot venue, offers a Vegas-style entertainment atmosphere as well as beautiful vistas of the surrounding Scottsdale area, a 36-hole championship golf course, and luxury spa. Talking Stick features one of the largest casinos in Arizona as well as ten dining establishments, such as Orange Sky, an upscale restaurant on the 15th floor of the resort which offers a menu of gourmet fare (Alaskan King Crab Legs, Lamb Chops, and Maine Lobster to name a few)
