Spread out over three levels in three restored shophouses, the Chinese Heritage Centre brings guests through the history of this area's cultivations - from the rough conditions migrants had to endure to the vibrant five districts it now comprises (Ann Siang Hill, Tanjong Pagar, Kreta Ayer, Bukit Pasoh and Telok Ayer). After taking in the 16 different exhibitions, grab a snack or a cup of coffee at a Kopi Tiam, located in the center of the museum, or pick out a souvenir to take home like a hand-sewn quilt.
