The Guerlain Spa: Rejuvenate with Orchids

Luxury Spa Treatments: Orchids are undoubtedly the most alluring and sensual flowers in the world. It only makes sense that they can make your skin look amazing. The good thing is that you don't have to sneak around in dark swamps in search of these mysterious and elusive plants. You'll only have to go as far as the Guerlain Spa in The Regent Bal Harbour, a sophisticated 124-room beachfront resort in Miami's Bal Harbour.

The Exceptional Orchidée Impériale Treatment takes two luxurious and pampering hours, and consists of a deeply relaxing facial incorporating two targeted anti-aging masks on the face, neck and décolleté, followed by a gentle face massage. This innovative therapy draws from the orchid's remarkably strong roots to rejuvenate and reinvigorate skin. The secret ingredient, created by Guerlain aestheticians for the best-selling Orchidée Impériale skincare line, is an Orchid Molecular Extract known to boost skin's firmness, smoothness and radiance. The $390 treatment is for all ages and skin types, but is best for those who have missed consistent professional facial treatment and who need to regain optimum skin condition quickly.

The 10,000 square-foot Guerlain Spa, the first North American spa from the Paris-based brand, features 15 spacious treatment rooms with private bathrooms overlooking South Florida's most coveted stretch of Gold Coast. The spa offers a full menu of massages, body polishes and anti-aging programs, as well as hydrotherapy. Pre-or-post treatment, guests can luxuriate on a waterfront terrace or in the relaxation room featuring specialty teas and freshly prepared fruit juices. The only clincher is you have to wait until Fall 2007, when the resort officially debuts.
