Le Blanc Spa Resort: Cancun's Finest

Posted: Jul. 2nd, 2007  |  By Christina Stewart
Luxury Spas: Bordered by the incandescent waters of the Nichupte Lagoon and Caribbean Sea, the Le Blanc Spa Resort is designed to be a sanctuary of tranquility and peace. Known largely for its flocks of spring breakers, Cancun's own Le Blanc Spa Resort is the perfect alternative for those in need of a blissful respite.

Spanning five acres, the Le Blanc Spa Resort has 260 guestrooms, which offer amenities such as a full-service butler, a double Jacuzzi, state-of-the-art media, and a balcony with views of the ocean and lagoon. Guests are afforded even more luxuries as they explore the premises. On the grounds, amenities include seven restaurants and lounges, three outdoor pools (including two infinity pools), two swim-up bars, an outdoor Jacuzzi, lit tennis courts, a fitness center and a 29,000-square-foot spa.

The Le Blanc Spa is a serene setting with bamboo gardens, elegant woodwork, marble flooring and floating lagoon pavilions. Couples can book one of the spa's treatment rooms and share a Shiatsu massage or a high-tech hydro bath. The spa suites truly provide a personal sanctuary that deliver uninterrupted relaxation. Therapies and treatments range from holistic and ancient healing rituals to bamboo leaf massages and guided hydrotherapy routines.

If you can't decide whether to spend a day at the spa or out on the green, you're in luck. The Le Blanc Spa Resort is just minutes away from two championship golf courses. The Moon Spa & Golf Club- a signature Jack Nicklaus course- overlooks the majestic Rivera Maya landscape and has three nine-hole courses. With a spa on location, you don't have to forfeit 10,798 yards of rolling green in order to get that facial that you so desperately need.

Only yards away from the Mexican Caribbean Sea, the Playacar Spa & Golf Club is recognized as one of the top golf courses worldwide. Designed by Robert von Hagge, the 18-hole course is considered the most challenging course in the region due to the vast and varied terrain of the Mayan Jungle.

Since its debut in 2005, the Le Blanc Spa Resort has proven to be a favorite among discerning travelers in search of a sophisticated alternative to Cancun's wild side.
