The Spa at Broadmoor

Spas Sometimes it's hard to find a spa with rich personality, one without another beige tranquility room, Zen like décor, and window-less waiting room. But one has been discovered: The Spa at Broadmoor- a five diamond, five star resort enveloping 3,000 acres in the pristine foothills of Colorado Springs.

The Spa at Broadmoor evokes 18th century elegance. The high-winged backed chairs in royal blue and mustard yellow, the richly colored tapestries which draped every window, the enormous fireplaces, and the dainty floral wallpaper throughout the spa. On a rainy day, the pre-warmed bathrobes, towels, and even toilets provide a delightful touch.

After lounging in the Mountain View room, which boasts floor-to-ceiling views of one of the Broadmoor's three golf courses, my Broadmoor Bliss session started: a 70-minute escape with a massage and hand and feet exfoliation.

Drift into a meditative state with the angelic music coming from an incredible surround sound system, including speakers embedded in my massage table. Leave your treatment smelling like a peppermint Patty (select the chocolate mint scrub for your hands and feet!) and completely content.
