The rooms are designed to capture the scenic surroundings. You can opt for a two-bedroom cottage, with a private beach, or a guest room. Traveling with a large family or entourage was never easier, as many of the rooms interconnect. Guest rooms provide luxury linens, down comforters and spas with soaking tubs. Cottages have complete kitchens, barbecue areas and a living area with a comfy fireplace. It is breathtaking to view the Olympic Mountain's snow-capped peaks from the front porch of a cottage.

Recreational activities include golfing, tennis, fishing, boating and kayaking. There also is a state-of-the-art fitness center, Jacuzzi and steam room along with an indoor swimming pool that overlooks the Hood Canal. The Alderbrook also has a marina and boat moorage that allows guests to either cruise in on their own boat or rent one of theirs. And there is seaplane departure-and-arrival service that allows you to view the majestic landscape at 1,000 feet up. What a rush, indeed!
