Beaches of South Walton: Autumn Tides is an elaborate community-wide event that runs from September through November on the Beaches of South Walton. This most-unique destination is made up of 14 eclectic beach towns situated in the heart of the Florida Panhandle on the Gulf Coast. There is no better area that defines the casual yet luxuriant lifestyle of Northwest Florida. It is a cornucopia of cultural and recreational opportunities so extraordinary that it prompts visitors and locals to curiously wait for the summer-to-fall seasonal change.

Some of the beach towns that make up the Beaches of South Walton and participate in Autumn Tides are Sandestin, WaterColor, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach. All in all, there are 26 miles of white-sand beaches and beautiful shorelines dotted with illustrious five-star accommodations that look out into the mesmerizing emerald-color waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Signature events of Autumn Tides include the South Walton Community Yard Sale, the Back to Nature Festival, and the Mountain Film on Tours festival. Visitors will find numerous art and cultural, culinary events, plentiful water-related recreational activities, agricultural tours, full-service spas, championship golf courses, tennis courts, and much more. These scenic beach communities are rich with pre-Civil War architecture and thousands of acres of parks and nature trails that provide vacationers with many pleasure-inducing options.

What makes this event even more enticing to travelers are the excellent incentive-latent Autumn Tide travel packages being offered by many of the hotels and resorts throughout the Beaches of South Walton towns.
