Unlike many high-end restaurants where the lighting is low and the management seems to focus more on a cool environment than a welcoming experience, Niche has a comfortable ambiance and is well lit, making it one of the most best places in St. Louis to enjoy a great meal with friends, family or a group of lively work colleagues. Don’t misunderstand though, this isn’t somewhere akin to Red Robin or Chili’s, Niche still provides a subtly elegant dining experience with superb food; the place is just presented in a lighter manner than most high-end restaurants.
That point might be best represented in the menu (plus the fact that there is a chef’s tasting menu), where one of those “fun” chain restaurants might provide burgers and fajitas, Niche has a refined menu full of choices like smoked trout salad, wild red grouper with clams, and the utterly amazing marinated olives. For both a great time and meal while on vacation in St. Louis, visit Niche and you will be hard pressed to not make it your “normal” spot while in this city.
