Being a large, world-class city, Dallas is full of great food and fine dining locations; Eater has compiled a list and photo collection of some iconic restaurants that help define the parts of the city they are located in.



Back in July Eater presented the 20 most iconic dishes of Dallas, and now we turn our attention to matters more atmospheric: the city's dining rooms. Some date back to the earlier half of the century, and the history is palpable; others are a symbol of new up-and-coming neighborhoods, and where the city is going. All of these dining rooms are so quintessentially Dallas that they've become part of the fabric of our city—these are the places where family meals are shared, business deals are made, questions are popped, anniversaries are celebrated.
