Oktoberfest is returning to Savannah, and that means live music, dog races, delicious bratwursts and, of course, gallons of beer. If you're in the Savannah area and planning on heading to the city's festival, make sure to drive safe while you have a great time.

Savannah will have more than beer on tap when Georgia's oldest city celebrates Oktoberfest this weekend.

The city's downtown riverfront will be closed to traffic starting Friday, when throngs of visitors expected to show up for beer, bratwurst tasting and live music.

Probably the most popular event of the three-day festival is the wiener dog races scheduled for Saturday.
