Rio de Janeiro Looking to Become Next Silicon Locale

Posted: Oct. 12th, 2012  |  By Michael Pearse

With events like "Geeks on Beer" happening regularly in Rio de Janeiro, the city is looking to revive the economy through attracting an educated and well-skilled workforce. This attempt is proving successful so far and officials are optimistic that Rio can become known as "Silicon Beach."
