Fairy Gardens Rising in Popularity in Dallas

Fairy Garden

Fairy gardens, which are small gardens normally decorated with fantasy-based statues, are seeing growth in popularity among Dallas citizens. Perfect for urban apartments and condominiums, fairy gardens provide those with a green thumb and creativity but little room to utilize a combination of both of those skills.

A gardening trend born in a big city known for small places is now finding roots in Dallas.

It's called "fairy gardening" and got its wings in New York.

Mother and businesswoman Amy Chinn is overseeing a new venture. It's a big idea meant to fit in the tiniest of spaces.

"And it was just so, so enchanting to me," said Chinn, owner of Amy Kate Gardens.
