Denver Kids Have Place for Scares

Halloween weekend will see the Children's Museum of Denver host its 28th Trick or Treet Street festival, beginning friday and carrying on until sunday. Young trick or treaters will be in for a show featuring train rides, story time, candy and costumes. Sunday will also feature a tribute to Dia de los Muertos.

Halloween activities abound this weekend, but a pair of family-friendly ones deserve attention:the Children's Museum of Denver will hold its 28th Trick or Treat Street fall festival Friday-Sunday, featuring "treat houses," a monster carnival, crafts celebrating Halloween and El Día de los Muertos, live performances, costumed characters, train rides, story time and more.
