The Mercantile Hotel in Dublin will be the site of Musicreviwunsigned.com's MRU Awards on December 16th. Dedicated to Irish music and performances, the website is set to host a ceremony that will honor unsigned Irish acts.

An Irish music website is to present what it says are Ireland's first unsigned music awards next month.

Musicreviewunsigned.com will present the MRU Awards at the Mercantile Hotel, Dublin on December 16.

Promised to be a show with “real awards and real people”, the ceremony will be hosted by 'Sunday Roast' host and RTE 2xm presenter Keiron Campbell Black.

The event will also be broadcast live on AerTV and streamed over the internet on the night.

Nominees in all 24 categories will be judged by editor-In-chief Trevor Hailpin, fashion editor Darragh Mullooly and the MRU editorial team and writers.
