November 12th is the date planned for Barcelona's Diversity Day, an event aimed at teenagers combining games and other activities to promote awareness and civil rights. Operating for the fourth consecutive year, the event is expected to attract hundreds of youthes and many anti-discriminatory organizations.
The Civil Rights Department of the City of Barcelona plans to organise a Diversity Day this coming Monday. It is expected that more than 800 young people and various organisations engaged with anti-discrimination will come together on 12 November to take part in the numerous activities devoted to the topic of diversity.
Diversity Day aims at educating young people about fundamental rights, raising awareness of their right not to be discriminated against, as well as explaining the many benefits of diversity.
The event is strongly supported by the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) of the European Union (EU) which will be present with its own stance.
