The world famous and monolithic rock band, The Beatles, is getting a festival in Dublin to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their Ireland performances. The festival will run for 3 days, launching on November 7th of next year and will feature 20 bands on top of performances from John Lennon's Quarrymen.
The Dublin Beatles Festival announced Wednesday that John Lennon's Original Quarrymen are one of the four bands confirmed to perform at next year's event, which is being held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles performances in Ireland.
The festival, to be held from Nov. 7-10, 2013, will also feature The Choking Smokers, Revolver and The Gandhis. Over 20 bands will be performing during the event, a spokesman said. Read More on examiner.com
