Dundalk Democrat Twenty-six year old Tara Erraught has debuted for the Vienna State Opera, making her the youngest ever principal artist to perform for the company. The young artist has begun touring the world as a member of the prestigious group, and is already a favorite amongst fans.
On Saturday October 27th, Dundalk born mezzo-soprano and RIAM BA graduate, Tara Erraught made her debut for Vienna State Opera in the role of Rosina in Rossini’s ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ or ‘The Barber of Seville’.
At 26 years old, Tara enters the history books as the youngest principal artist ever booked by this prestigious opera company.
The final night she gave her performance as Rosina was extra special as a group of over 30 from Dundalk, travelled to Vienna with Joe Walsh tours to show their support for Tara. Read More on dundalkdemocrat.ie
