Master Italian Chef Lighting up Sydney

Posted: Nov. 28th, 2012  |  By Michael Pearse
Caffe Sicilia

The best Italian chef in the world, Heinz Beck, celebrity chef of the only 3-Michelin star restaurant in Rome is coming to Sydney for a short trip and will be preparing meals November 28th and 29th for the few that can get in and pay the $350 at the door of the Caffe Sicilia. For those who cannot make it in during these two days there is the fortune that the chef is creating 4 legacy dishes that will forever remain on the menu long after he has skipped back home.

When a 3-Michelin star chef hits town it’s worth a standing ovation. When that 3-Michelin star chef has made his name by cooking for Di Caprio, Mendez, Ford, Minogue, Beyoncé, Travolta and Mr ‘shot down in a blaze of glory’ it’s time you sat down and ate with Italian gusto. Heinz Beck is the most awarded Italian chef in the world, holding more stars than anyone else.

Fine then, I get it, you get it, he’s brilliant.
